Check the internet though, there’s always filmmakers boards where you can post your project and invite people to be a part of it. Also, film schools. More than ever, filmmaking now a days has been democratised due to the influx of DSLR’s that can shoot HD and has really (for good and bad) put the power in the hands of the people. With a decent lens on the front, you got a cinema camera. Firstly, our film will be on the festival circuit for a year, hopefully doing plenty of screenings both here and abroad. After that time, we’re not sure if it’ll go straight online or whether other distribution opportunities will be afforded us. All up? The film was about 2 years from concept to completion… a long time! We shot on the RED mx but also a little bit on the Red One and the shoot was 4 days. And here’s a nice non spoilerish one with a pointless piece of trivia attached.</p> <p>We shot this scene in Claire’s house, and weeks prior we’d been discussing if we were going to see the floorboards or not (as they were painted white) and whether we would should sand them.
